Together, we have identified several bottlenecks and silos in the Nordic nuclear ecosystem that hinder the expansion of nuclear technology in energy, med-tech, healthcare, and space. We have our targets set to address and resolve these obstacles, starting with projects in the Nordics and extending our efforts to the European and global level.
Project developers in underdeveloped areas of the nuclear industry and academia along large parts of the nuclear value chain, strategy consultants and think tank in nuclear, nuclear network coordinators and general doers and enablers of nuclear progress.
A research reactor in Sweden to the benefit of academia and nuclear, med-tech and healthcare industries in the Nordics. Our first project addresses several bottlenecks and silos in the Nordic nuclear eco system. We are dedicated to developing a new, state‑of‑the‑art research reactor. The project aims to secure the Nordic countries and Europe’s long‑term capacity for advanced materials research, isotope production, and nuclear innovation at a time when several existing research reactors are approaching the end of their operational lifetimes. This directly meets imminent and urgent needs for resilience in Europe.
The planned facility will provide world‑class neutron capabilities for industry, academia, and the public sector, strengthening Europe’s technological competitiveness and strategic autonomy. By combining modern reactor design, robust safety standards, and broad international collaboration, NA2 seeks to build a research infrastructure that supports scientific excellence and drives sustainable industrial development for decades to come. More news about the research reactor to come within short.
We have a long list of urgent projects. We just don’t have the capacities to do all of them at once, at least not yet. Stay tuned to see what comes next…
